Shopping and services have always been tied to fixed locations—until now. DoorClick reimagines convenience by turning everyday stores and service providers into mobile experiences, delivered through a van right to your doorstep. Customers enjoy all the perks of a physical store—without leaving home.
Timeline
DoorClick's custom marketplace app was built and launched in just 3 months, including the web platform, mobile apps, van tracking system, and payment integration.

The Challenge
Retail and service industries struggled with two extremes:
Physical stores offered presence but lacked mobility.
Delivery apps brought products but not the experience of a storefront.
Customers had no way to know when nearby mobile providers were available.
DoorClick’s vision: bridge the gap between physical and digital by creating a marketplace where mobile vans act as stores on wheels, complete with real-time tracking and instant services.

Our Approach
1. Technology & Architecture (Custom marketplace app)
Web + App Marketplace: A dual platform (iOS/Android + Web) where users browse services, book appointments, and make payments.
Real-Time Location Tracking: Vans are tracked live via GPS, showing customers availability in their area.
Dynamic Pricing Engine: Service fee calculated automatically based on the van’s distance from the customer.
Order Management: Customers can place, modify, and track their orders end-to-end.
2. UI/UX & Design
Van Locator Map: An Uber-style map lets users see which vans are nearby.
Push Notifications: Users are notified when a van is approaching or within service range.
Seamless Flow: From selecting a service to booking and paying, the experience is designed to require minimal steps.
Mobile Store Experience: Service listings mimic physical storefronts—making it feel familiar, yet futuristic.
3. Integrations & Ecosystem
Payments: Stripe (or similar) for instant payments and service fee calculation.
Notifications: Push alerts triggered by geofencing rules when vans are nearby.
Vendor Tools: Business owners have a backend to manage van schedules, services, and availability.
Customer Engagement: In-app messaging and reviews create trust between users and providers.
4. Collaboration & Delivery
Fallback Labs built DoorClick as a hybrid marketplace—combining logistics, payments, and mobile-first design. The system was designed for scalability, so adding new van-based businesses is quick and seamless.

The Outcome
First-of-its-Kind App: DoorClick became the world’s first mobile business marketplace.
Customer Convenience: Real-time van tracking and notifications made services instantly accessible.
Dynamic Pricing: Automated fee calculation improved transparency.
Stronger Vendor Growth: Service providers expanded their reach without the costs of physical stores.
Scalable Ecosystem: The platform can onboard any type of van-based business, from grooming to groceries.
